Meet The Owner

While traveling through Italy, I fell in love with the food, the culture, the people, and their way of life. So much so, I became an Italian citizen and now hold dual citizenship. With offices in the United States and Italy, I have the opportunity to personally seek out and select exceptional Italian foods to share with our customers. I look for products with quality, tradition, and a story behind them. You’ll know it when you taste it.

Walking through the towns and villages of Italy, I was touched by traditions that are still very much alive. You see men and women walking arm in arm, mothers and daughters holding hands, and people greeting one another warmly with a kiss on each cheek.In the Sicilian countryside, miles of farmland stretch before you, filled with foods waiting to be harvested. And don't be surprised if your drive is interrupted by a shepherd leading his flock of sheep down the road, they have the right of way! One image especially stayed with me was seeing Sicilian women, young and old, riding their scooters through the streets, going about their day with unmistakable Italian spirit and style.

And this was the Birth of “Sicily Girl.”
